Invisalign - Dr Rizwan Mahmood

Dr Rizwan Mahmood is a senior clinical fellow in oral & maxillofacial surgery and is one of the co-founders of Ruh Dental. Rizwan graduated from Bristol Dental School, and has always held a keen interest in head & neck surgery. In order to nurture this interest he obtained his membership at the Royal College of Surgeons and has published work in this field. He also has studied medicine at Bart’s and the London, During which he completed his research masters in experimental oral pathology, looking at cancer stem cells and their involvement in the development of head and neck cancer.

Rizwan has held several clinical fellow posts at Aintree university hospital, the Royal London, Kings College Hospital and the Royal Free. His clinical interests focus around oral surgery and implantology through which he has completed the Tipton implantology course. He has decided to further his expertise in implant surgery by enrolling onto the post graduate diploma in implantology at the world renown Eastman dental institute.
